Private Markets Club
President
As President of the Private Markets Club at the University of Delaware, my role is to ensure the efficient operations of the organization, lead educational efforts such as case competitions, workshops, and video resources, and oversee recruitment initiatives with other executive board members. Founded in 2020 by my good friends Keaton Stott and Will Wallace, the club was created to provide students with exposure and knowledge of the private side of finance, including private equity, venture capital, angel investing, private debt, and real estate. To achieve this objective, the club hosts weekly meetings featuring guest speakers and occasional office tours of various firms. Furthermore, we have connections with start-up companies and regularly staff members on teams to provide students with hands-on professional experience in learning how to grow and sustain a business. My position has granted me numerous opportunities to gain insights into the private finance industry and the career possibilities it presents. Additionally, it has allowed me to share my expertise with other students through educational initiatives, contributing to their growth and development.
